Somnium Ge is a germanium boost with both a mid-boost and preamp boost mode. Allowing you to add character to your sound or push your amp into creamy distortion! The Preamp mode is a wider bandwidth version of the full boost setting on the Ge Boost which allows it to sound equally good with standard and lowered tunings. The inspiration for the name and the art.
Johannes Kepler was a 17th century German astronomer who not only discovered that the planets travel in elliptical orbits, he also wrote a book entitled Somnium. Somnium, which is latin for The Dream, is a fictional tale in which the main character has a dream that demons take him to the moon, and he describes earth from his vantage point on the lunar surface. Many science fiction writers consider Kepler’s book to be the first science fiction book.
